Vote Child Care
The Association of Early Childhood Educators Ontario is a non-profit, charitable organization, and a non-partisan group; as such we do not favour one party over another, nor do we promote any one party or encourage our members to vote a particular way. We do have a vested interest in considering the potential implications of child care policy decisions and we are providing this information to encourage thoughtful consideration, meaningful dialogue, and informed voting decisions.
In collaboration with Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care, we've prepared an Election Readiness kit to support our members with the federal election. This readiness kit will provide you the tools to encourage your colleagues and the families you serve to vote in the federal election with Child Care and Child Care workers in mind.
In keeping with Child Care Now's Affordable Child Care for All Campaign message, we encourage members to consider the following ideas during the election.

Monday, October 21, 2019
If you're registered, you should have received a voter information card in the mail. It tells you where and when you can vote. If the name and address on your card are correct and that you meet the indicated eligibility criteria, you're ready to vote.
If you didn't get your voter information card or if the information on it is wrong, your voter information may not be up to date. Use the Online Voter Registration Service, contact your local Elections Canada office or call 1-800-463-6868 to check and update your information before October 15, 2019.

Vote at your assigned polling station on Monday, October 21 within the hours provided on your voter information card.

To vote by mail, apply online or at any Elections Canada office across Canada before Tuesday, October 15, 6:00 p.m.

Vote on advance polling days

Vote at Elections Canada office
|
|
Vote at your assigned polling station from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from October 11 - October 14.
Assigned advance polling station can be found on the voter information card.

There are over 500 Elections Canada offices open across Canada. Vote at any one of them before Tuesday, October 15, 6:00 p.m.
Offices are open seven days a week.
